The Capri Theater groundbreaking took place today on a $13 million expansion project in North Minneapolis. Community members and leaders joined the team in celebrating the beginning of construction for this project with a rich history and a bright future.

The Capri Theater groundbreaking is unique in our hearts here at Baker Associates.
The new space will feature an outdoor plaza, a 300-seat theater with modern audio-visual technology and digital projection capabilities, an expanded lobby and concession area, additional community programming space, improved accessibility features, and more.
The Capri has been a community cornerstone since it opened in 1952 and the expansion project will help ensure that it continues to serve as a beacon of arts, culture, and entertainment for many years to come. We look forward to being part of this transformation!
There is so much excitement about the future of the Capri Theater and the many possibilities this expansion will bring to North Minneapolis and the entire Twin Cities region.
